Josh Ewald

Josh Ewald joined Aldag/Honold Mechanical in 2011 and now serves as our Shop Foreman and Custom Fabrication Specialist. After completing his sheet metal apprenticeship and earning his Journeyman card, Josh worked his way into a leadership role where he now oversees daily shop operations and custom fabrication production.

Josh works closely with estimating, design, and layout to turn complex ideas into finished products for our customers. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, he takes pride in meeting demanding project schedules and continually improving shop processes. He has developed a strong reputation for taking on challenging stainless-steel fabrication, especially food-grade work and complex custom hoppers where precision and finish quality matter most. Using tools such as Inventor, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, Josh helps design and build solutions that meet each project’s unique needs.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys building and creating, whether it’s woodworking, metal fabrication, or working on projects around the house. He also enjoys motorsports and anything with an engine that goes fast. Most importantly, he values time with his wife and kids, attending their sporting events, working on vehicles and toys together, and sharing plenty of laughs. His faith is an important part of his life and helps guide how he approaches both his work and family.
